But if you ask him? Totally worth it.

He spent the whole week at the booth, talking with city clerks, finance officers, auditors, and administrators about everything from retention policies and scan projects to misplaced microfilm and that one file cabinet no one dares open.

There were laughs. There were probably too many pens handed out. And most importantly, there were real conversations about real challenges.

It’s not about handing out pens—it’s about hearing what keeps people up at night (and helping fix it).
